Summary: We continue to focus on the letter sounds for M,S,T,P,A and O and will add C and F starting next week. This will allow us to spell many new words. We will add the words an and at to our word wall this week as well.
I am in need of a homeroom parent for both my AM and PM sessions. The primary responsibility would be calling parents to arrange parties. We have 3 parties per school year and there are many volunteers for contributions. If someone would agree to be in charge of coordinating who brings what I would appreciate it.
Please join us at the Fall festival on Oct. 23rd. Thank you to everyone who has contributed or is planning to contribute to our Popcorn Basket for the auction.

8:55-9:05 or 12:55-1:05 Phonemic Awareness games and activities
9:05-9:25 or 1:05-1:25 Teacher Read Aloud
9:25-10:15 or 1:25-2:15 Centers and Small Group Instruction
10:15-10:35 or 2:15-2:35 Shared Reading
10:35-10:55 or 2:35-2:55 Math and Science or Social Studies will be taught on alternate weeks.
