Holiday Concerts
Two holiday concerts will be held on Wednesday, December 16th.
The first concert will be performed by Kindergarten - 2nd graders. 3rd-5th graders will be in the audience, and parents are also invited. It will take place at 9:00 a.m. and will last approximately 30 minutes.
The second concert will be performed by 3rd-5th graders plus afternoon preschool/kindergarteners. Kindergarten - 2nd graders will be in the audience, and again, parents are invited. Students from the strings program will also perform. This concert will be at 1:30 p.m. and will last about 35 minutes.
The theme of the two concerts is LIGHT: Holidays Around the World. Songs from Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Eid-al-Fitr, Divali, and winter traditions will be sung, and many will also be accompanied by percussion instruments played by the students.
Students are working hard to prepare, and are excited to be having their first performance of the year. There will be a second concert in the spring, which will also include students from the strings and band programs.
