Maclary Staff uses the Positive Behavior Support Program (PBS) in order to foster students' responsibility for their education and behavior. Our PTA supports PBS by providing funds and manpower for special monthly rewards.
At Maclary, students and staff are expected to follow the 3 BEs:
- Be Your Best
- Be Respectful
- Be Responsible
By following the 3 BEs we help make Maclary a safe learning environment for all. Students earn Bulldog Bucks for being their best, being respectful and being responsible in the 7 different school zones. The school zones are:
- Learning Zone (classroom)
- Riding Zone (bus)
- Talent Zone (specials)
- Active Zone (playground)
- Personal Zone (bathroom)
- Nutrition Zone (cafeteria)
- Quiet Zone (hallway)
Students can buy different rewards with their bones. Please encourage your child to Be their Best, Be Respectful and Be Responsible every day!
